September 18–20, 2026 • Rhinebeck, NY
Focused, practical clinical insights and case-based learning through the lens of evidence-informed herbal medicine—integrating both scientific research and traditional wisdom—paired with the opportunity to connect with like-minded practitioners dedicated to helping their patients.
This immersive weekend intensive explores herbal medicine through scientific, traditional, and ethnobotanical perspectives, blending modern clinical application with the rich traditions of herbal-based healing.
An Unplugged Physician Gathering at the Omega Institute
Our unplugged weekend gives you clinical depth from experts, real-world applications, and a sense of community- set in a warm and inviting environment surrounded by nature.
Join our small group of physicians for an immersive experience where you’ll learn clinical herbal medicine through modern science, traditional herbalism, herb walks and sampling, and Indigenous ceremonies, in a setting intentionally designed to remove distraction and deepen learning.
This is not your typical conference
No Zoom. No recordings. No crowded exhibit halls or name-badge small talk.
Just practical clinical insights, case-based learning, and the fun of connecting with like-minded practitioners who care about helping their patients.
Case-Based Clinical Teaching: What You’ll Learn
Unlike purely theoretical programs, this conference focuses on practical applications that help you create immediate results in your practice.
This is designed for clinicians who want to take home practical, clinically relevant skills that will help their patients in their healing journey, including:
- How to apply herbal medicine in complex, chronic disease cases.
- How to move beyond protocols into individualized treatment strategies.
- How to think in terms of mechanism, pattern recognition, and patient response.
- How to safely integrate herbs into real-world medical practice alongside conventional care, and understand how to discern between drug interactions that are positive or negative.
- How to expand your clinical toolkit so that you are finally confident and comfortable prescribing herbs in therapeutic doses.
This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from experienced clinicians who can openly share the resources, testing approaches, herbal products, and dosing strategies they use in practice. Attendees will gain practical, experience-based insights that can be immediately incorporated into patient care.
They are free to give you the kind of practical clinical guidance you crave but rarely hear at traditional accredited conferences.
